This place is a little haven tucked away on the cliff out of the village of Amed in Bali. 'Traditional Textiles and Natural Dye Garden' has been running for over 30 years, helping to keep the weaving techniques traditional to that region alive through teaching the children. Traditionally girls are passed down the artistry of weaving from a very young age and this is how these hand crafted techniques are kept alive.

The plants used for dying are organically grown in the garden right next to the vats and the weaving area. It is so beautiful to see the entire process from growing plants to weaving the different colours into stunning fabrics in the same place.
